Hello Parents,
Our class has signed up to help run the Cake Walk at CCE's annual Country Fair after school on October 22. Please let me know if you will be able to volunteer and help to run this fun event! We will also be asking for donations of baked goods to be brought in that day. All baked goods must be store wrapped with the ingredients clearly posted. Thank you.

REMINDER:
I have noticed that some of the students have not been returning their completed math homework on a daily basis. Math homework is given Mondays through Thursdays and is to be completed after school and returned the next day. Homework packets are placed in the students' mailboxes each Monday (or first day of the week) and is to be returned completed on Friday (or the last day of the week).

| If your child has missing assignments or missing homework, they will be expected to finish it and turn it back into the teacher. The status of the homework chart will not be changed, so that we can look for improvement. |

Fry's Sight Words - Lists 20 Thru 40 |
| Each column represents a list of 10 sight words. Students learn to read each list (in order) and then to spell the words on the lists. There are 1000 Fry's sight words total. Students entering 2nd grade should already know the first 200 words. Students should learn to read at least 400 words by the end of 2nd grade to be on task. Download all the Fry's Sight Words and practice with your child at home. |
